A list of ten potential fights that could generate the most interest in professional boxing in 2026 has been published.
Idman.Biz reports that the list published by "The Ring" magazine covers various weight categories.
Matches from minimum weight categories to super heavyweight, including both title and non-title bouts, have been included.
Two possible fights in the super heavyweight division are noteworthy: a match between Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk and British Fabio Wardley, as well as the long-awaited duel between Britons Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.
In the first case, it is about a potential meeting between the current "The Ring" champion and the WBO belt holder, and in the second case, it is about the years-long rivalry between the two British boxers.
A possible unification fight between IBF and "The Ring" champion Jai Opetaia and WBA and WBO title holder Gilberto Ramirez in the cruiserweight division (up to 90.7 kg) was noted.
In the light heavyweight division, a fight between absolute champion Dmitry Bivol and WBC champion David Benavides is expected.
