Unbeaten former undisputed world champion in three weight classes, American Terence Crawford expressed his confidence that the UFC mixed martial arts league will never surpass boxing in popularity and become the flagship of the martial arts industry.
Idman.Biz reports that the 38-year-old Crawford announced the end of his career on December 17 last year.
"UFC will never be better than boxing. UFC is good at what they do, we are good at what we do. You know what I mean? When you compete in mixed martial arts, you have to think like this: if I can’t beat you with my arms, then I’ll try to win with kicks or takedowns. It’s a completely different mental preparation," MMA Mania quotes Crawford.
