Undefeated American boxer Terence Crawford has stated that he doubts the integrity of the fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul.
According to İdman.Biz, Crawford believes that what happened in the ring seemed more like a staged performance than a real fight.
"It's heartbreaking to see an icon go out like that. He shouldn't have been in there. I've never seen Tyson even bite his gloves - he was doing everything he could not to hit him. I think the fight was fixed. With all his connections and status, people could have found another way for him to make money. After Jake's performance like that, he'll never be able to land a punch on Mayweather," Crawford said on the Joe Rogan podcast.
The fight between Tyson and Paul took place in November 2024. The fight lasted all eight rounds (two minutes each), and Jake won by unanimous decision.
