The leader of the national team defeated Maksym Rudyk (Ukraine) in the final.
Subhan Mammadov, who finished all 3 rounds in his favor, won with a score of 4:1 (28:29, 29:28, 29:28, 30:27, 30:27) and won the title of European champion.
Thus, the national team led by Elbrus Rzayev completed the European Championship with 3 medals. Before Subhan Mammadov, Tagi Nasibov (60 kg) and Sabuhi Alizadeh (+90 kg) won bronze medals.
It should be noted that 271 boxers from 33 countries competed in the European Championship.
