The final fights of the Boxing World Cup have started in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil. Saidjamshid Jafarov was the first to compete in the decisive match as part of the Azerbaijani national team.
Idman.Biz reports that our boxer, competing in the 75 kg weight category, tested his strength in the final against local athlete Tauan Silva (Brazil). Jafarov, winning all three rounds, eventually won confidently with a score of 5:0 and won the gold medal.
It should be noted that Subhan Mammadov (50 kg) and Muhammad Abdullayev (+90 kg) will also compete in the final match at night. The day before, Nabi Iskandarov (70 kg) won a bronze medal.
