Former UFC champion Ronda Rousey has admitted that she initially considered fighting Gina Carano in Dana White's promotion.
According to İdman.Biz, the parties could not reach an agreement, and the fight will now take place under "Jake Paul's Most Valuable Promotions."
"I tried to negotiate with the UFC, but they are now only focused on maximizing profits for their shareholders. They are no longer interested in organizing the biggest and highest quality fights; they are only interested in the numbers in their reports. "Most Valuable Promotions" offered me terms that respect my legacy and these historic moments for women's MMA," Rousey said on "The Jim Rome Show."
The fight between Rousey and Carano will take place on May 16.
