Reports that 31-year-old Khamzat Chimaev, the current UFC middleweight champion (up to 84 kg) representing the UAE, died in a car accident in Chechnya are false.

"He is in Dubai. He is doing well," the Chechnya Segodnya portal said, citing a person familiar with the situation.
Earlier, social media widely reported that Khamzat Chimaev, along with Adam Kadyrov, the son of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, was involved in a serious car accident in Grozny.
