"I never focus on a knockout".
Rafael Fiziyev said these words while answering Idman.Biz's question at the press conference organized in connection with the "UFC Fight Night" tournament to be held in Baku this year.
He stated that few fighters can say "I'm preparing and I'm going to knock him out in this round":
"Everyone says that, but it's actually very difficult to do. I'm always looking for an opportunity to outmatch and defeat my opponent. The opportunity can arise in the first round, or in the fifth round. Sometimes, even my opponent can create such an opportunity. And I will do my best to not give him such an opportunity".
To the question "What is the most dangerous aspect of your opponent for you?", Rafael Fiziyev answered:
"The most disturbing and dangerous aspect, in my opinion, may be his dimensions, height and anthropometry. Because I usually lose to opponents in my division in terms of anthropometry. He is also tall and has long arms. In this sense, it can cause some anxiety and danger".
