The next opponent of Azerbaijani mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Rafael Fiziev has been announced.
According to Idman.Biz, referring to the official website of the UFC, the fighter, who competes in the lightweight category, will face Brazilian Mauricio Ruffi at the UFC 325 tournament to be held on February 1, 2026 in Sydney, Australia. The fight is included in the main card of the show.
Fiziev had his last fight in June 2025 in Baku and defeated Ignacio Bahamondes. Ruffi had his previous fight in September and lost to Benoit Saint-Denis ahead of schedule.
It should be noted that today, as part of the UFC 323 tournament held in Las Vegas, a fight took place between Azerbaijani fighter Nazim Sadykhov and Frenchman Fares Ziam. Fares Ziam knocked out Nazim Sadykhov in the last seconds of the round.
