Azerbaijani Rafael Fiziev, number nine in the UFC lightweight rankings, spoke about the fight between champion Ilia Topuria and interim title holder Justin Gaethje.
According to İdman.Biz, the Azerbaijani UFC fighter believes that Ilia can easily take down Justin.
"I'm happy for Justin, but to be honest, I'm surprised he's not in shape for this fight, because he was really slow in the first round. He's really slow. He looked sick. He was out of shape. I think if he was in the shape he was when I fought him in London, he would have beaten Paddy (Pimblett-red/) in the first two rounds. I don't think he was really 100% ready for the fight. I saw his neck. It probably looked like a staph infection. But Paddy surprised me. He's really tough headed.
Topuria and Gaethje - to be honest, I don't want this fight, because brother, he (Gaethje) is almost 38 years old. If you look at his form in this fight, it won't end well. Fighting Ilia standing up without wrestling, without boxing is dangerous for him. Very dangerous. Ilia can easily take him down. I know it's MMA. Anything can change at any moment, but I still don't want to see it," MMAJunkie quoted Fiziev.
