Russian fighter Andrey Pulyayev will hold his next fight on June 27 at the UFC tournament in Baku.
According to Idman.Biz, Pulyayev's opponent will be Nursulton Ruziboyev, representing Uzbekistan. The fighter confirmed this information himself and said that he had started preparing for the fight.
"Yes, I have been assigned a fight with Ruziboyev in Baku on June 27, so we have started preparing. There is enough time, I am already in shape, I just need to heal my finger a little and prepare well for my opponent," Pulyayev said.
The fight will take place in the middleweight division and the "Baku Crystal Hall" will be one of the main matches of the "UFC Fight Night" event. Pulyayev has 10 wins in 14 MMA fights, while Ruziboyev has won 36 out of 47 fights.
Thus, the main card of the tournament to be held in Baku is gradually enriched with new fights. It should be noted that the fight between Ikram Aliskerov and Brunno Ferreira has already been confirmed.
According to reports, a fight between Sharabutdin Mammadov and Misel Pereira may take place, but this fight has not yet been officially confirmed by the UFC.

The UFC tournament, which is scheduled to be held in Baku on June 27, is gradually beginning to take on real contours.
Idman.Biz reports that the most accurately confirmed fight at the moment is between Ikram Aleskerov and Bruno Ferreira in the middleweight division: this fight is already listed in the "Sherdog" database (a popular online platform specializing in mixed martial arts – ed.) as part of the card for the "Ultimate Fighting Championship Fight Night" tournament to be held at the Baku Crystal Hall. Aleskerov approaches the fight with a record of 17-2, while Ferreira has a record of 15-3.
In addition, another high-profile fight around Baku night is beginning to emerge. According to MMA-specialized sources, Sharabuttin Magomedov may fight Mikhail Pereira. However, there is currently no official confirmation from the UFC on this. This option seems logical for Magomedov: his manager had previously stated that the next fight will be held outside the United States, as the fighter has certain licensing restrictions.
Looking at the current form, both potential fights look quite interesting. Pereyra won by split decision over Zakari Riz in February 2026, while Magomedov last entered the octagon in July 2025. At that time, he made up for the first defeat in his career with a victory over Mark Andre Barriault, bringing his record to 16-1. Ferreira, on the other hand, recently fought in one of the UFC tournaments and lost to Grigoriy Rodrigues by knockout. Therefore, his return in June will be an opportunity for him to steer his career back in a successful direction.
It should be reminded that the first UFC tournament in Azerbaijan was held in June 2025, which was the promotion's debut visit to the country. At that time, fans in Baku Crystal Hall watched Rafael Fiziev's victory over Ignacio Bahamondes and Nazim Sadikhov's victory over Nikolas Motta. Tofiq Musayev lost to Myktybek Orolbay in his UFC debut.
