Baku may host another event of the UFC, the world's largest mixed martial arts promotion.
According to Idman.Biz, citing FightTime, the next UFC Fight Night event may be held on June 28 in the capital of Azerbaijan. However, organization representatives have not yet officially confirmed the event.
It is noted that UFC events in Baku could become an annual event. Recall that the league's debut event in Azerbaijan took place on June 21, 2025 at the Crystal Hall. In the main fight, American Khalil Rountree defeated Jamal Hill by unanimous decision in the light heavyweight division.
Azerbaijani fighters Rafael Fiziev, Nazim Sadykhov and Tofig Musayev also competed in the tournament. The first two fighters defeated Ignacio Bahamondes (Chile) and Nicolas Motta (Brazil), while Musayev lost to Myktybek Orolbayev (Kyrgyzstan).
