Azerbaijani karatekas have achieved successful results at the open international tournament held in Moldova.
Idman.Biz reports that our athletes finished the competition with 11 medals. Our representatives won eight gold and three bronze medals at the tournament.
The gold medals were won by Gunay Ramazanova (61 kg), Gulshan Ramazanova (55 kg), Aysu Tarverdi (61 kg), Leyla Karimzade (50 kg), Fatima Huseynli (42 kg), Raul Abdulov (45 kg), Ismail Paseyev (40 kg) and Davud Aliyev (45 kg).
Davud Ismayilov (40 kg), Murad Abdulov (40 kg) and Sadiq Ibrahimov (35 kg) won bronze medals at the tournament.
Our athletes competed in the competition in Moldova under the leadership of Seymur Khudaverdiyev, coach of the Azerbaijan Karate Federation.
