Azerbaijani professional boxer Mahammadali Nurushov made a remarkable statement before the fight against Bobirjon Isroilov, a well-known Uzbek fighter nicknamed "Ispanchik".
İdman.Biz reports that Nurushov addressed a message to his opponent on his social media account, stating that it is not too late to refuse the fight.
"It's not too late to refuse the fight," the Azerbaijani athlete noted in his post.
Nurushov then emphasized that he would not only enter the ring for victory. He said that one of his main goals is to wave the Azerbaijani flag:
"Do you think our brother has no revenge? I'm going there primarily to wave our flag and avenge my friend Emil."
It is reported that Bobirjon Isroilov will approach this fight not just as another match, but as an answer to his previous defeat.
According to "All Stars Entertainment", a major professional and media boxing night will be held on June 6 at the "Humo Arena" in Tashkent. One of the most remarkable matches of the night will be the duel between Nurushov and "Ispanchik". The organizers present this fight as one of the confrontations where "unsettled scores will be finalized in the ring."
