Azerbaijani mixed martial arts (MMA) master Muhammadali Nurushov has faced unexpected problems on the eve of his next fight.
Idman.Biz reports that Bobocan Isroilov, the next opponent of our compatriot who won a confident victory over Shahzod Uzokov at the "OCTAGON 84" tournament, refused to participate in the "OCTAGON 85" tournament due to injury.
M. Nurushov told Idman.Biz in his statement that the search for a new opponent for him is currently underway.
"Currently, the organizers are trying to find an urgent replacement for Isroilov. There is no concrete decision yet, but work is underway in this direction. The date and place of the fight have not changed yet - it should be held on April 2 in Tashkent. If a worthy opponent is not found in the remaining time, my octagon appearance may be postponed to May. However, I hope that everything will be fine and I will be able to perform in the capital of Uzbekistan as planned," the fighter emphasized.
