Georgian UFC bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili spoke about his upcoming rematch with Russian Petr Yan.
Idman.Biz reports that the fight will take place on December 7 in Las Vegas, USA as part of UFC 323.
"He is from Russia, and I am from Georgia. Every time we compete with Russians, we must win," Dvalishvili said in an interview with the Pound-4-Pound YouTube channel.
Merab Dvalishvili is 34 years old. The Georgian fighter made his UFC debut in 2017. In September 2024, he won the bantamweight title by unanimous decision over American Sean O'Malley. After that, he made three successful defenses.
