On May 21, Anar Bayramov, Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Deaflympics Committee, held a meeting with deaflympic athletes who achieved success at the WSF Karate Shotokan World Championship held in Istanbul, Turkey.
İdman.Biz reports that Hikmat Agayev, Sahib Sahibli, Yusif Azimzade, who won gold medals at the World Championship, Aytan Gadirova and Nizamaddin Azimzade, who won silver medals, as well as bronze medalists Aliakbar Alizade and Elnur Gasimzade, as well as the head coach of the national team Seymur Khudaverdiyev and assistant coach Shahin Khudaverdiyev participated in the meeting.
Anar Bayramov highly appreciated the results achieved, congratulated the deaflympic athletes on their great victories and advised them to continue training intensively in order to achieve even greater success in future competitions.
In turn, the coaches and athletes expressed their gratitude to the Chairman of the Board for the attention and care shown by the Committee and shared their impressions of the competition.
At the end of the meeting, coaches and athletes were presented with awards on behalf of the Committee.
