Famous American boxer and blogger Logan Paul sold the "Pikachu Illustrator" collectible card at auction for $16,492,000.
Idman.Biz reports that this amount is considered an absolute record for any type of collectible card.
The "Pikachu Illustrator" card was released in a limited edition of only 39 copies in 1998. The card's design was created by Japanese illustrator Atsuko Nishida, who is considered one of the creators of the Pikachu character.
It should be noted that the "Pikachu Illustrator" card is one of the rarest and most expensive "Pokemon" collectible cards in the world and was produced in limited quantities.
