Kyrgyz MMA fighter Medet Jeenaliyev tragically died in Lake Issyk-Kul.
Idman.Biz reports that the incident took place in the village of Baktoo-Dolonotu.
Two schoolgirls began to drown in a strong wave, after which Jeenaliyev, along with two friends, went to their aid. Although it was possible to save the schoolchildren, the athlete could not get out of the water.
It should be noted that Medet Jeenaliyev was 30 years old.
