İdman.Biz reports that the fight took place in Chelyabinsk, at the "Traktor" ice arena as part of the "RCC Boxing Promotions" night.
Janiyev's opponent was experienced boxer Vasili Podnebesny. According to the results of the match, the judges unanimously awarded the victory to the Azerbaijani representative.
It should be noted that Janiyev is known for his Muay Thai and MMA performances, and was previously the only Azerbaijani fighter to defeat the legendary Buakaw Banchamek.
