Jon Jones, the 38-year-old former UFC heavyweight and light heavyweight champion, has stated his desire to fight at an event held at the White House.
İdman.Biz reports that the UFC event at the White House will take place on June 14th.
"UFC knows how bad my arthritis is. They also know that if I’m going to risk it one last time and endure pain like that, the reward has to be special and more than just a huge paycheck. For me, that was and remains an opportunity to fight at the White House.
Whether this fight happens or not is irrelevant. My career is already legendary. I left a piece of myself in the Octagon. Don’t be fooled, I can still beat 99% of you. I'm still doing great squats. I'm still training. And I work harder than most of you,” TMZ quotes Jones.
