38-year-old former two-division UFC champion in the light heavyweight and heavyweight divisions, American Jon Jones, has stated his belief that his abilities were bestowed upon him by God.
Idman.Biz reports that Jones has participated in professional competitions from 2008 to 2024.
"I believe all of this was given to me by God, it's my talent. I don't know if we'll see a talent like me in the future. It's hard to say if that's even possible," Jones said in an interview with the "Sport24: Culture of Beating" YouTube channel.
His record is 28 wins, one loss. He is considered by many analysts and fighters to be the greatest fighter in the history of mixed martial arts. He shares the record with Fedor Emelianenko for the most wins over fighters who have won the UFC title: nine wins.
