Joe Rogan, the 58-year-old popular American podcaster and UFC commentator, has reacted to the WBC's decision to strip undefeated former undisputed world champion Terence Crawford of his title.
Idman.Biz reports that Crawford was stripped of the title for refusing to pay the mandatory fee.
"That's ridiculous. Terence Crawford was like, 'Fuck, I'm the champion, I beat Canelo.' The WBC actually wanted $300,000 from him? Terence got stripped of his title, and that's just madness. The WBC wants that much money just because they're a sanctioning body. What do they do? They don't do anything.
