American boxer Jake Paul has revealed that it is still questionable whether he will continue his career.
Idman.Biz reports that the 29-year-old athlete may not return to the ring after suffering a severe jaw injury in the fight with Anthony Joshua. Paul spoke about this on Ariel Helwani's show.
He said that he will undergo a new examination in the coming days to assess the healing process of his jaw:
"Let's see what the doctors say. I will know a more accurate timeframe. In general, will I be able to fight again? That is also a possibility. I feel better every week, but I must first get permission to start sparring."
According to Paul, the main decision will depend on how his jawbone heals. The American boxer said that he may also need a dental implant. His doctor does not support Paul fighting again.
Let us remind you that Jake Paul lost to Anthony Joshua by knockout in the sixth round in the fight held in Miami last December. This defeat was his first knockout in his professional boxing career. Paul's professional record is 12 wins, two losses and seven knockouts.
