American boxer and blogger Jake Paul has revealed that he underwent additional jaw surgery after breaking his jaw in a fight with former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.
İdman.Biz reports that, according to Paul, he needed a second surgery due to complications.
"I had to get jaw surgery again. It turned out that the screws and plates started to come loose because I didn't give myself any rest in the last two months," Paul wrote on his social media page.
Last December, Joshua scored an improbable victory over Paul in Miami, Florida. He knocked out his British opponent in the sixth round. After the fight, Paul took an X-ray and showed that his jaw was broken in two places. He later announced that the surgery was successful.
