The current UFC featherweight champion, the undefeated 29-year-old Spanish-Georgian Ilia Topuria, has expressed his desire to fight Irishman Conor McGregor.
Idman.Biz reports that Ilia has 17 victories, only two of which were by decision, and no defeats.
"Who would I like to fight? Conor. I would very much like to fight him; I would really enjoy it. Yes, he is not the Conor of 10 years ago. But that doesn't matter," Topuria said in a broadcast on blogger Adin Ross's YouTube channel.
The Spanish-Georgian athlete made his professional mixed martial arts debut in April 2015. He began competing in the North American Matador League in October 2020.
