The SPOT Project organization has raised over $180,000 in one day to build a mosque in honor of Kevin Ayodele, coach of former boxing world champion Anthony Joshua.
According to Idman.Biz, TMZ reported this information.
Ayodele died in a fatal car accident in Nigeria on December 29. Anthony's other coach, Sina Gami, also died in the accident.
"Latz was widely respected in the community not only for his dedication to sports and healthy living, but also for his deep commitment to charity and his constant remembrance of the afterlife.
His regular visits have deeply impacted the orphans and children from SPOT. He was always there with a warm smile, building sincere relationships with them. He encouraged the children to play sports and supported them with care," the website involved in raising the donation said.
It is recalled that the accident occurred on the Lagos-Ibadan highway. A "Lexus" SUV, which included Joshua, crashed into a truck parked on the road.
