Former Brazilian UFC fighter Gleison Tibau spoke about Khabib Nurmagomedov and Islam Makhachev.
Idman.Biz reports that Tibau stated that he considers former lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov superior to Islam Makhachev.
"Islam Makhachev has been a champion in two weight categories of the UFC, he is a very talented fighter. But Khabib was better. His fighting style was perfect, he had complete control over his opponents on the ground. Khabib will always be better," the former fighter emphasized.
It should be noted that Makhachev, in addition to being a former UFC lightweight champion, currently holds the belt in the welterweight division. Nurmagomedov retained his lightweight title and ended his career undefeated.
