Former Surinamese heavyweight UFC fighter Jairzinho Rozenstruik has been arrested in the state of Florida, USA.
Idman.Biz reports that this was reported by the Broward County Sheriff's Office.
Rozenstruik is charged with domestic violence and unlawful deprivation of liberty. Court proceedings are ongoing in both cases and no verdict has yet been reached. In addition, the fighter is in immigration detention, which may limit his release on bail.
Rozenstruik's wife reported on social media that the arrest occurred after Jairzinho had an argument with a neighbor and the police were called. Bail has already been paid and the investigation is ongoing.
