Brazilian UFC fighter Mauricio Ruffi, who will be Rafael Fiziev's next opponent, has announced that he rejected a multi-million dollar offer due to his religious beliefs.
İdman.Biz reports with reference to "Ag.Fight" that Ruffi was offered approximately $10 million for partnership with betting companies.
One of the terms of the contract stipulated that he should not mention God in the octagon.
"They offered me millions, but in return they wanted me to refuse to talk about God. I'm not ready for that. Giving up my beliefs is a betrayal of my views. Faith gives me inner peace," said the Brazilian fighter.
It should be reminded that Mauricio Ruffi will face Rafael Fiziev at the UFC 325 tournament on February 1.
