Eduard Mammadov, the World and European Kickboxing Champion, won two gold medals at the WAKO World Kickboxing Championship held in Abu Dhabi from November 21-30. Sport24.az reports that E. Mammadov, who participated in the "Light Contact" and "Kick Light" categories of kickboxing in the 63 kg weight category in the "Master Class" category, won two gold medals in both versions.
In the "Light Contact" category, he won against Singh Gurmare of Great Britain, Cortes Emanuel of Portugal,
Simone Calogero of Italy, and in the "Kick Light" category, he won against Ahlvarsson Ola of Sweden, Gallant Benjamin of Canada, and Simone Calogero, who also represented Italy in this category.
Thus, the head of the Sports and Training Department of the Sports Society of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, police lieutenant colonel, vice-president of the Azerbaijan Kickboxing Federation became the world champion for the 10th time in Wako overall.
