Eduard Mammadov, world and European kickboxing champion, won two gold medals at the WAKO World Championship held in Abu Dhabi.
İdman.Biz reports that he won first place in both competitions in the "Master Class" category in the 63 kg weight category in the "Light Contact" and "Kick Light" disciplines, defeating all his rivals.
E. Mammadov defeated representatives of Great Britain, Portugal and Italy in "Light Contact", and athletes from Sweden, Canada and Italy in "Kick Light".
It should be noted that with this result, Eduard Mammadov, the head of the Sports and Training Department of the Sports Society of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan, police lieutenant colonel, vice-president of the Azerbaijan Kickboxing Federation, won the title of world champion for the 10th time in total in WAKO.
