Eddie Hearn, promoter of former IBF, WBA, WBO and IBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, spoke highly of his protégé.
Idman.Biz reports that the mentor called his student a star of world boxing.
"Without a doubt, Anthony Joshua is the biggest star in world boxing right now," Hearn said on The Ariel Helwani Show.
Joshua is 36 years old. The British boxer has been competing in professional competitions since 2013. His record includes 29 wins, 26 of which came early, and four losses.
He is the 2012 Olympic champion and the holder of the Order of the British Empire "for services to boxing."
Recall that some time ago, UFC President Dana White briefly characterized mixed martial arts masters, as well as representatives of the boxing field, and called Eddie Hearn "very respectable."
