The number of detainees in Turkey as part of the drug investigation against celebrities has reached 19. Among those detained is well-known boxer Adem Kılıççı.
İdman.Biz reports, citing Turkish media, that the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office conducted an operation against 25 people on charges of "purchasing, accepting or storing narcotics or psychotropic substances for use", "promoting and mediating prostitution" and "facilitating drug use". As a result of the operation, 19 suspects were detained.
Among those detained are singers Murat Dalkılıç and Kaan Tangöze, actor İsmail Hacıoğlu, boxer Adem Kılıççı, Furkan Koçan, businessman Hakan Tunçelli and others.

It should be noted that Adem Kılıççı is a professional middleweight boxer. Kılıççı won a silver medal at the World University Boxing Championship held in Antalya in 2004. He won a bronze medal at the World Amateur Boxing Championships held in Chicago, USA in 2007. He won a silver medal at the Mediterranean Games held in Pescara, Italy in 2009, and a gold medal at the same competition held in Mersin in 2013.

Although he passed certain stages in the 2012 London Olympics, he was later disqualified due to the use of prohibited substances as a result of analysis.
He also finished second in the "Survivor" competition in 2017 and won the championship in 2018.
