Conor McGregor, one of the most scandalous and popular figures in UFC history, has broken his silence. The former champion in two weight classes (66 and 70 kg) made an interesting post on his social media account about his next fight and opponent.
Idman.Biz reports that the Irish athlete, sharing his thoughts on the "X" platform, emphasized that the identity of his opponent does not matter to him.
"My next opponent may be someone unknown. You know, it doesn't matter to me. I agree. Send the contract. This is the Conor McGregor deal," the fighter said.
It is worth remembering that McGregor last faced American Dustin Poirier in July 2021 at the UFC 264 tournament, and was defeated by technical knockout in that fight due to a serious leg injury he sustained. There are rumors that the athlete, who has 22 victories and six defeats in his professional career, will hold his next fight as part of a special tournament to be held at the White House.
