37-year-old former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor has filed a defamation lawsuit against "Sky News".

According to reports, McGregor's representatives claim that in November 2024, as Conor was leaving the courtroom where he was accused of sexual assault, a "Sky News" reporter used the phrase "you raped her" to him. McGregor's team claims that this statement damaged his reputation and was expressed as a positive statement, not as a question.
The trial will take place in Ireland. McGregor has not yet commented on the case.
