Conor McGregor, the 37-year-old former two-division UFC featherweight (66 kg) and lightweight (70 kg) champion from Ireland, has announced his plans to fight in the UFC again.
"I'm in talks about my next fight with the UFC. I'll be back either at the White House for URF or at another upcoming UFC event. McGregor will be back in the summer," Bloody Elbow quotes McGregor.
The Irishman hasn't fought in mixed martial arts since July 2021, when he lost to former UFC interim lightweight champion Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 by technical knockout (leg injury) in the first round. His professional record is 22 wins and six losses.
