American welterweight fighter Colby Covington, who has not won in over four years, has been removed from the UFC roster, and the promotion's official website lists him as having ended his career.
Idman.Biz reports that Covington began his MMA career in 2012 and made his UFC debut in 2014.
His best winning streak was seven, and he held the welterweight title for over a year. However, he has suffered four losses in his last six fights. Covington's last win was against Jorge Masvidal at UFC 272, followed by losses to Leon Edwards and Joaquin Buckley in December 2024.
In March 2026, Covington expressed dissatisfaction with being left off the UFC White House card.
