UFC light heavyweight champion Carlos Ulberg underwent surgery due to an injury.
İdman.Biz reports that Ulberg faced Jiří Procházka for the vacant belt in the main fight of the "UFC 327" tournament held on April 12. During one of the episodes of the fight, Carlos injured his knee while stepping back and throwing a punch, and after that, he could not stand firmly on his feet.
Although Procházka went on the offensive to finish his opponent, the mistake he made in the counter-attack cost him dearly - Ulberg won by knockout with a left hook.
Less than a week after the victory, the fighter shared a photo from the hospital on his social media account, writing, "I had knee surgery."
No additional information has been provided yet about the exact nature of the injury and which ligaments were damaged.
