UFC 327 took place on the night of April 12 at the "Kaseya Center" arena in Miami. The main fight of the night was for the vacant light heavyweight championship belt.
İdman.Biz reports that former champion Jiří Procházka and New Zealand representative Carlos Ulberg faced off in the octagon. The confrontation ended in the first round - Ulberg won by knockout.
At the beginning of the fight, the New Zealander injured his leg after several low-kick strikes and had difficulty moving, even falling to the ground for a moment. However, Procházka did not speed things up and invited his opponent to an open fight in the center of the octagon. But in one of the episodes, Ulberg seized the opportunity and landed an accurate blow to the chin of the Czech athlete, knocking him out.
Thus, Ulberg became the new UFC light heavyweight champion. He now has 13 wins and one loss in his record. Procházka has 32 wins, six losses and one draw.
