Belgian 26-year-old light heavyweight boxing champion Li Ingelrest has been sentenced to a three-year suspended prison sentence and an €8,000 fine for drug trafficking.

According to reports, in 2023, law enforcement officers stopped a car driven by Li. A package of drugs was found during a search of his car. Later, other prohibited substances, as well as equipment for their distribution, were found and confiscated from his home. Ingelrest noted that he started dealing drugs in 2020.
Li made his professional boxing debut in 2020. The Belgian athlete's record includes 12 wins, one loss and two draws.
