Azerbaijani karate fighter Babek Qelemzade became the European champion in the absolute weight category among adults at the 28th European Fudokan Karate Championship held in Romania.
Idman.Biz reports that our karate fighters are participating in the prestigious competition with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan.
Our team is performing under the leadership of Fudokan representative Vusal Abdullazade and head coach Bashir Mahmudov.
It should be noted that the European Championship among adults, as well as the European Cup competitions among juniors and youth, will end on May 10. Currently, several junior and young karate fighters continue to compete for the European Cup.
