Azerbaijani boxers have won 4 medals at the World Cup among oil countries held in Yugorsk, Russia.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to the Boxing Federation that Malik Hasanov (67 kg) in the team led by coach Rafig Ismayilov, outperformed all his rivals.
He won the gold medal by defeating Enkhtor Tegshjargal (Mongolia) in the final.
Of our other boxers, Yadigar Aliyev (51 kg) won silver, and Ali Miriyev (60 kg) and Novruzali Guliyev (75 kg) won bronze medals.
It should be noted that representatives of 15 countries competed in the tournament.
