Azerbaijani boxers returning from the United Arab Emirates were welcomed in Baku

Azerbaijani boxers who participated in the world championship held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, have returned to their homeland.

Idman.Biz reports that they were met at Heydar Aliyev International Airport by sports enthusiasts, relatives, and representatives of the public.

In the tournament, Subhan Mammadov (48 kg) won gold, Alfonso Dominguez (92 kg) and Muhammad Abdullayev (+92 kg) won bronze medals.

It should be noted that Azerbaijan was represented by 11 boxers in the competition.
