The international tournament "Grand Bellagio Championship" will be held tomorrow in Batumi, Georgia.
The local bureau of "Report" informs that the tournament is planned to hold 10 fights in various weight categories.
Athletes from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Portugal, Turkey, Israel, Brazil, Kazakhstan, and Sweden will test their strength in the competition.
According to tradition, a "face to face" ceremony was also held between the athletes before the fight night.
Alim Nabiyev, a 7-time world and 3-time European champion in kickboxing, who represents Azerbaijan and Georgia in international arenas, will face his Brazilian opponent on fight night.
Alim Nabiyev stated in his statement to the Georgian bureau of "Report" that the international tournament to be held in Batumi is of particular importance to him and that he will try to live up to the expectations of the fans.
In addition, Azerbaijan will also be represented by Elvin Kamilli and Tural Asgarov. 27-year-old Tural Asgarov has won 4 victories and lost 3 times in his fights so far.
A number of well-known athletes, coaches, as well as representatives of the Azerbaijani Embassy and Consulate in Georgia and community representatives will visit Batumi from Azerbaijan to watch the tournament.
