Azerbaijan will be represented by 11 athletes at the European Championships among male and female boxers under 23 years old in Budapest, the capital of Hungary. Sport24.az reports that the Azerbaijan Boxing Federation has released information about this.
The competition, which starts on November 23, will last seven days.
Head coach Elbrus Rzayev will give a chance to Subhan Mammadov (50 kg), Amin Mammadov (55 kg), Tagi Nasibov (60 kg), Ali Abdullayev (65 kg), Nijat Alirzayev (70 kg), Farhad Sheydayev (75 kg) and Sabuhi Alizadeh (+90 kg) at the U-23 European Championship.
Ilkin Agayev, the head coach of the women's national team, will rely on Lala Madatova (48 kg), Zeynep Rahimova (54 kg), Aynur Mikayilova (57 kg) and Fatima Mehdiyeva (65 kg) in Budapest.
International referee Galib Abiyev will also be among the judges in the competition.
It should be noted that the national team, which left for Hungary today, will return to Baku on November 30.
