The European MMA Championship in Loutraki, Greece, was very successful for the Azerbaijan national team. Our representatives showed great determination in the competition and won numerous medals.
Idman.Biz reports that our athletes Asif Gozalov (52 kg), Ali Mammadov (65.8 kg), Giyas Rustamov (79.4 kg), Avaz Mustafayev (83.9 kg), Narmin Aliyeva (56.7 kg), Aghalar Mammadov (61.2 kg) and Kayyar Piriyev (70.3 kg) won gold medals by defeating all their opponents.
Silver medals were added to our tally by Adem Asgarov (46 kg), Samira Gasimova (46 kg), Emil Ismayilov (56.7 kg), Alakbar Rzayev (61.2 kg), Sanan Rajabov (70.3 kg) and Nihad Guliyev (74.9 kg).
In addition, Islam Ramazanov (74.9 kg), Ali Sharifov (79.4 kg), Rahil Baghirov (56.7 kg) and Ibrahim Guliyev (65.8 kg) completed the success by winning bronze awards.
