The World Cup among female and male boxers will kick off on April 20 in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil. According to Sport24.az, the Azerbaijani national team will also compete in the 7-day competition.
Ravshan Khojayev, the head coach of the men's team, will give a chance to Subhan Mamedov (50 kg), Zidan Hunbatov (55 kg), Mahammadali Ashiraliyev (60 kg), Nabi Iskandarov (70 kg), Saidjamshid Jafarov (75 kg) and Mahammad Abdullayev (+90 kg) at the rating World Cup.
Ilkin Agayev, the head coach of the women's national team, will rely on Zeynab Rahimova (54 kg) and Emili Rzayeva (65 kg) in the competition.
It should be noted that the draw for the World Cup will be held on April 19.
