The "Nations Cup" international tournament was held in Moscow, Russia, organized by the "Kyokushinkan" organization.
According to Idman.Biz, referring to the Azerbaijan Karate Federation, 1600 athletes from 43 countries and 41 regions of Russia participated in the competition.
Aygün Asadli, a member of the national team of the Azerbaijan Karate Federation in the "full contact shinkyokushin karate" style, represented our country in the tournament in the women's 55 kg weight category.
Although Aygün Asadli successfully passed the 1/16 final stage, she could not continue the fight due to an injury sustained in the 1/4 final stage, by the decision of the competition doctors, and finished the tournament in 3rd place, winning a bronze medal.
Galandar Aslanov, a representative of the "International Kyokushinkan Organization" and an international-level judge, also participated in the competition. He was awarded a letter of gratitude by the organizers for his work as a judge in the competition.
