"Sumgayit", preparing for the new season, has signed an American basketball player. Sport24.az reports, citing the club's press service, that 27-year-old C.J. Jones, who is 198 cm tall, plays both as an offensive-minded defender and as a forward.
Jones, who began his career with the "Birmingham" team in Alabama, has previously played in the Netherlands and Cyprus championships. He last played for the Panamanian club "Dragones de Don Bosco".
It should be noted that C.J. stood out in the Panamanian championship with an average of 19 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. He even won the "Legionnaire of the Year" award in Panama.
